Professor Wei-Chih Lin is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering at National Sun Yat-sen University and concurrently serves as the Vice President of Global Industry-Academia Collaboration and Business Promotion. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. His research expertise encompasses agricultural engineering, biomedical technology and automation, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, as well as micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) technology. Professor Lin has dedicated his career to the research and development of smart, labor-saving agricultural machinery. He was honored with the prestigious National Agricultural Science Award – the "Forward-looking Innovation" Pegasus Award, which represents the highest distinction in the field of agriculture.
